Why Every Artist Should Enter TERAVARNA's International Color Contest
Every artist has experienced the moment when a work of art has been created and hung in their studio, when you find yourself asking, "Who else needs to see this?" There is an answer, and it's in the form of TERAVARNA's International Color Contest, one of the most colorful, welcoming, and rewarding juried art programs today.
This Color Art competition was designed for all the above: oil painters, gouache artists, sculptors, photographers, and digital artists.
Color is a universal language.
The name TERAVARNA, literally meaning "a trillion colors," was a result of a simple yet profound conviction that, when it comes to the world, one of the most universal languages is color. Whether you're looking for a deep, rich scarlet or a soothing blue, color communicates without words. It invokes remembrance, mood, and transcultural and trans geographic messages.

This is the spirit of this color artwork competition. The theme is COLOR in its broadest sense, the freest sense. Any topic that is about colors is welcome. There is no right (or wrong!) way of working with this theme; it is the artist's responsibility to work out what they wish to express. Either you're bold and chaotic with your work or quiet and symbolic; it's what is happening on the canvas that matters.
Color Art Competition—Which Has Passed The Test Of Time
It's not a rookie in the ring. TERAVARNA's Color Art Competition is a testament to the trust and enthusiasm of the global art community that it has nurtured over the years. Previous editions have attracted hundreds of artists from dozens of countries, and the latest editions had over 40 countries that participated across the globe.
Past color contests have paid thousands of dollars as cash prizes and have featured mediums such as watercolor, oil, acrylic, photography, and mixed media. The platform's history is as vibrant as the art it showcases.
In the many last editions of the Color Artistry juried contest, we have built a testament, a foundation, so that the artists can feel safe here to showcase their color artworks. We don't judge on your perspective; we judge on creativity and the courage to let yourself be you, so be you and submit the artwork that speaks you.
