Why Animals? Why Animal Art?
Artworks of pets, birds, wild animals like horse painting or an elephant artwork have been timeless inspirations for artists across cultures and centuries. Right from the cave paintings in antiquity till modern surrealist portraits, artists have captured the creatures of land, sea, and sky in countless styles and forms, from delicate graphite sketches to bold colorful animal paintings.
This competition is not only about capturing the grace of these living creatures, but to showcase unique stories about them. Your paintings of animals would portray more than just fur and feathers; focusing more on emotions, freedom, issue of habitats, and even environmental concerns! While painting a wild predator or a beloved pet, let each brushstroke become a story of these innocent yet fearless ones.
